Information we collect
- Inquiry form: your name, email address, phone number, the type of home you are interested in, and whether you agreed to receive text messages.
- Tour booking: when you book a tour on our website, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the tour time you choose, and whether you agreed to receive text messages. The tour is added to our leasing calendar, which is hosted by Google.
- Text messages: the texts we send you and the texts you send to our leasing number, with the date and time, and whether you have opted out.
- How you found us: the ad, search or website that brought you to our site, when that information is available.
- Messages and comments: when you comment on or message our Instagram or Facebook accounts, we receive your public profile name and the content of your message. Some replies, such as the tour link sent when you comment “TOUR”, are sent automatically.
- Calls and emails: information you share when you contact our leasing office.
- Technical information: our hosting provider records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, to operate and secure the site.
- Advertising measurement: our website uses the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta (Facebook and Instagram). It uses cookies and similar technology to record visits to our pages and actions such as sending an inquiry or booking a tour, so we can measure our ads and show them to people likely to be interested. Meta receives this activity and may combine it with your Facebook or Instagram account. We do not send Meta your name, email address or phone number through the pixel.
How we use it
- To answer your questions, schedule tours and share availability and pricing.
- To follow up about your inquiry by email, phone or social media message, and by text message if you agreed to texts.
- To understand which of our ads and listings bring inquiries.
- To run, secure and improve our website and advertising.
- To comply with the law, including fair housing laws.
We do not use your information to decide who may rent a home based on race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin or any other protected characteristic.
Text messages
When you check the text-message box on our inquiry form or tour booking page, you agree to receive texts from Buckhead Flats at the number you provide. These include confirmation of your inquiry, tour confirmations and changes, and a small number of follow-up messages about your tour or application. Our leasing team may also reply to texts you send us.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of leasing a home.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, under their own privacy and security obligations:
- Website hosting and database providers (for example Vercel and our database host).
- Google (leasing calendar) and Meta (Instagram and Facebook).
- Our text messaging provider (SignalWire), which delivers texts between you and our leasing team.
- Our social media management provider (Zernio), which delivers posts and message replies.
We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our residents, staff or property.
Your choices
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete the information we hold about you by calling 404-240-2848 or writing to the leasing office at the address below.
- You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP to any text from us.
- You can ask us to stop emailing or calling you at any time.
- You can limit ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and block or delete cookies in your browser.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond, follow up and keep our leasing records, unless the law requires longer. You can ask us to delete it at any time. Information about residents is kept under the terms of the lease.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including access controls and encrypted connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Children
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
